Myth: I can get a 6pack by doing more sit ups.

Myth: I can get a 6 pack just by doing more sit ups.

Short answer no.

Long answer: yes doing more ab work can assist in building a stronger core (we all need strong cores to get through everyday movements, so working on core exercises is great to incorporate into Daily or weekly workouts).

But showing a 6 pack is all about our body composition and body fat and what we eat.

As we age we tend to hold more fat around our midriff, and this then increases risk of heart related/blood pressure issues.

Women and men are diff as well how they hold fat and their underlying muscle mass.
